The bath at Prayagraj is at the Triveni sangam. In Magh the bank becomes a camp. In a Kumbh year the crowd comes from the whole country, so prepare as for a serious journey — papers, medicine, and a meeting point written down first.
A boat to the sangam is usual. Ask the fare and look at the boat. After the bath, dry off and do not separate in the crowd. Prayag is also remembered as a tirth of daan and restraint. A photograph of the dip is not the whole yatra.
